    Getting rid of old or expired herbs and oils is always a good idea, but what to do with those last few drops of that exotic oil in the vial, or the few shreds of herb in the jar?   Try this at your next ritual.  It is a wonderful method for using up those last bits and dollops  and at the same time create a special mixture just for your group or coven.
Make up a large batch of bath salt base from the recipe below.  Have everyone bring their "remnants" and a glass jar.  You can also have everyone bring some of the ingredients for the base.  Mix the base in a Extra Large bowl.  Create your sacred space with the bowl in the center of the circle.  Go around the circle and have each person add the bits of oil that they brought.  Now, everyone should take a turn mixing the salts and oils together.  You can chant, sing, or simply incant during this phase.  Voila!  Custom bath salts for your coven.  Portion the mix out into the glass jars for everyone to take home and color as they wish.

For incense, have a few mortar and pestles handy as well as a large bowl.  Cast a circle and have everyone grind and mix their herbs together in the bowl.  You can get some amazing incense this way.  Above all, have fun with this.
