CRYO-Gene DNA Ltd. provides a DNA storage (banking) service for individuals and families.  A safe, easy, non-invasive DNA collection kit is supplied.  Extracted DNA will be preserved for a moderate fee for 20 years, with the option to renew storage for even longer periods for an additional small premium.

The DNA collection kit is easy to use and non-invasive. There is no requirement for assistance from a physician or other health care provider.  All the necessary materials and clear step-by-step instructions are provided.  The entire process takes only minutes to complete.

Once DNA has been extracted, a certificate confirming its adequacy and its registration for storage and preservation will be issued.

DNA will be stored in our specialised, dedicated facility.  Client confidentiality will be strictly maintained and protected.

Upon request (in writing and supported by a physician) CRYO-Gene DNA Ltd. will retrieve a family member's DNA and arrange for appropriate independent testing.  All services and testing will be provided in accordance with strict ethical considerations and Provincial/Federal Laws (if and as appropriate).

DNA preserved from entire families (parents, grandparents, and their siblings) can be used even after their death to determine whether surviving family members are at risk for certain diseases or cancers.  Maintaining a family's genetic history is an investment in the future, providing a valuable resource that can assist in improving the medical health of generations to come.
