How I made these Army Awards

This Page will show you how I created the Ribbon and Badge Pages, it wasn't that hard to complete just took some time.

The CAV flags are from an old unit I was in,

Here is how the ribbon for the Wisconsin Army National Guard Berlin Crisis was completed. Starting with getting the colors correct. The next step was to move them to get the wave effect. The hardest thing was to create the bar that is on the ribbon. As you can see if you make one it can be used on the other ribbons that have the same thing, like the Gulf War ribbon for the state.

I had the luck of calling the unit I used to be in and with Chris's help was able to get a color sheet that had the colors of the state ribbons on it. I also sent Dan an e-mail he's an old friend who still is in the guard. At one time to help the other soldiers he had made a color handout that could be used for the placement of the federal and state ribbons, I had also made a shadow box of all the federal and state ribbons that still hangs in the armory of the 1/147th Command Aviation Battalion.

The same was done for the following ribbons.

Glider Badge
