I Am Tired

I wake tired every day,
Sleep escapes me when I lay.
My mind will not allow me to sleep,
As I toss and turn with thoughts so deep.
Why will my mind not stop thinking?
Does it not know that I am sinking?

Sleep eludes me every night,
As my eyes adjust from dark to light.
Three or Four hours will no longer do,
I need sleep to make it through.
Why are things so complicated for me?
When all I want is peace you see.

I do not know what I can do,
To start my life whole and new.
It seems nothing turns out right,
No matter how hard I fight.
I want no pity from anyone,
I will fight till my Life is done.

Seems that God has plans for me,
And I am sure its not this Life of misery.
So I open my Heart and ask him in,
So he can take away my sins.
I will help as always as you all know,
Because helping you helps me to grow.
