Emotions and Feelings
Start, Stop, Finish, End,
Love, Laughter, Anger, Send.
Spoiled, Rotten, Finished, Done,
Stay, Wait, Help, Come.
Forget, Remember, Comprehend,
First, Last, My Love I Send.
Alone, Tears, Smile,
Pretend, Real, For a While.
Hungry, Full, Upset, Blue,
Helping, Hurting, Love that's True.
These are only word but,
As a hot knife through butter they can cut.
Emotions and Feelings I try to hide,
So I hurt no others or their pride.
Please don't think bad of me,
This is how I keep my sanity.
Time for paiin has come and gone,
In my life it is time to move on!

Insane Or In Pain
I seem to ask a question that really makes
me think,
I saw so many patients and never thought to
blink.
Some are old and some are young and some
are in between,
But there is a common factor in all that really
can be seen.
Very shy is one I noticed and that also
includes me,
Then the ones that walked the halls as if
lost from what I see.
One thing I saw with us all is we were all alone,
Other than now and then a call up on the phone.
Are we insane or are we in pain, that being
alone brings,
because even tho most have mates they seldom bring
us things.
Things like a hug or kiss from our so called mate,
Who watch their watches all the time as if they're
running late.
They stop in to say Hi and before you know it
their saying Good-Bye,
Insane, In Pain, Lonely, Lost, Trying to get by.
But most of all I think it is pain that we all
try to hide,
For it is an Emptiness only felt inside.
