Been A While
It has been a while since I have
been here,
To share my thoughts that are sincere.
The hours pass slowly through the day,
Seems I have nothing to share or say.
Every day seems like the last,
Where I wake up and adorn my mask.
I try to look to the good and not the
bad.
For I am tired of Feeling so sad.
My family know just by looking at me,
With their constant reminder to be happy
I myself do not understand what I can do,
To stop the feelings of being so blue.
I have many friends who support me
day or night,
As I still struggle this inner fight.
So if you don't see any poems for a bit,
Know that I have not given up and quit.
I will try not to continue to compain,
For I feel like I'm on an endless train
