Changes
Changes, hmmmm a word I am growiing to know,
For I am changing more and learning how to grow.
C - To See things bright and clear.
H - To understand what you hear.
A - Admitting there is time for change.
N - Not feeling quite so strange.
G - Gaining strength every day.
E - Eluding the thoughts that want to stay.
S - Self Acceptance and changing slowly.
These are some of the changes I look for in me,
That will help me to Learn to accept who you see.

A New Day
A new day is here and I face it head on,
Looking for good, as morning does dawn.
I see my Dr at three thirty today,
She will tell me if she thinks I am doing okay.
I know the road to recovery will be long,
And thinking positive will help take away the wrong.
So I greet the day with expectations of hope,
To find the skills to be able to cope.
In finding the skills I am able to see,
Just a bit more reason for me to be me.
I am trying to find the Judy you see,
For she is tired of hiding inside of me.
A new day is here again, and I will try,
To throw away the Heartaches that always made me cry.
Thank-You to all who have stood by my side,
For giving me reason to no longer hide.
Also for showing me the light ahead,
And for making me see I'm alive and not dead.
