A Flash Of Light
A flash of light strikes my eyes,
As the morning sun begins to rise.
I try to hide away from the light,
My body craves just a bit more night.
I awake unable to move because the pain is great,
Try as hard as I may my body wants to stay straight.
The flash of light flickers at my eyes,
And I wonder what mysteries will arise.
I wake each day ready to start,
A day filled with Love from my Heart.
If only the pain would go away,
I could look forward to another day.
The warmth of the sun warms my heart,
And is a wonderful way for the day to start.
I am sure there are others that feel this pain,
Who are like me and try not to complain.
So enjoy the flicker of a gimmer of light,
That changes the darkness into light.

Who Do You See
When I read these words each day,
I wonder who you see that day.
A compex mind with so much doubt,
An inner me waiting to come out.
I look at what I write and think,
Should I swim or maybe sink?
I see things more clearly than I once did,
But were these feelings meant to be hid?
Today I look at who I am and wonder who
you see,
For I would not want anyone to think
I write for pity.
I write my words almost every day,
To try to sort out why some things just want
to stay.
The thoughts that keep me from going insane,
Are the thoughts that show me there's so much
to gain
A time for thinking about to do,
To make myself want to live with what I go
through
So tell me who it is you see,
And Thank-You for allowing me to be me.
