A New World
My life has changed more every day,
A new world unfolds in a strange way.
A world that reveals what I tried to hide,
Reveals how much I hid inside.
Now I try to write every day,
To rid the pain a bit more each day.
Sometimes I questioned if this was good,
Wasn't quite sure if I should.
But I see the more that I do write,
Helps me to see things in a new light.
Ever since I was a child I have needed
to write,
For this was my only way to express and
put this into light.
So I will continue to write each day,
For deep within there is so much to say.
And for me this is my only chance,
To welcome you into my world through a glance.
One day I hope I not to have to write,
But until then all of you I invite.
