The Hardest Part
The hardest part of the day,
Is when depression hits and wants to stay.
To feel a numbness cold as ice,
Isn't something I call nice.
My body aches from head to toe,
Depression is my biggest foe.

The hardest part is not easy to explain,
And I try my hardest not to complain.
Every day I try to conceal,
The pain and numbness that are so real.
So many friends have reached out to me,
To show me how to be Happy.

I try so hard to change my days,
And change the dark skies to atleast gray.
One day soon I hope to see,
A more meaningful life for me.
Until that time I thank-you,
For understanding what I'm going through.
