The Morning Awakes
The morning awakes me as the sun rises,
Looking at people adorn their disguises.
Some just smile while others frown,
Some are up but some are down.
Looking as the sun shines through the stars,
Over the lake that reflects no cars.
I feel the eagerness to get on with the day,
Feeling blue again, just don't know what to say.
Maybe an adjustment is what I need,
To take away this evil seed.
I am starting to realize time waits for none,
As the days pass away with the morning sun.
All I want is an inner calm to stay,
To help wash these feels out for the day.
I can see things still are not what I need,
To take away these feelings we'll call evil seeds.
