What is the difference between the Blue and Red versions of Pokémon?
The only difference between the two versions is the Pokémon you can catch. Both versions have the same story, bosses and items.

How many Pokémon are there?
There are 150 Pokémon in the U.S. version of Pokémon. However, you can only catch 135 of them without trading with anyone. Some Pokémon evolve only when traded and some are found only in their respective versions.

Which Pokémon are only available in the Blue version? The Red version?

Which Pokémon only evolve when traded?
When traded, Machoke will evolve into Machamp, Graveler will evolve into Golem, Haunter will evolve into Gengar and Kadabra will evolve into Alakazam.

What are rare Pokémon and which are they?
Rare Pokémon show up only once (with the exception of Snorlax--he appears twice) during the game, so make sure you save the game before battling them. The rare Pokémon are Articuno, Mewtwo, Moltres, Snorlax and Zapdos.
