The Crusaders are a 60's style garage band from Sydney that sound quite similar to bands like the Stems, the Lime Spiders and The Psychotic Turnbuckles but without the 80's production. Instrumentally the band is really tight and the songs all have good potential but unfortunately, this four track EP is either poorly recorded or pressed because the sound, especially the vocals, is terrible. This is a shame because I could have otherwise seen myself really liking this record. I'm not about to write the Crusaders off on the basis of this record but Escar Got Got seems like a real waste of everyone's time.
