I’m pretty sure Hate To Say I Told You So has previously been released as a 7” single but I’m glad to at least have this version. With its surging rhythm and explosive chorus, Hate To Say I Told You So is easily one the best singles of the last year and justifies the current hype surrounding The Hives. Whether they can follow it up is another question but at the moment who cares?
