This 7 inch release by power pop legend Paul Collins, highlights both sides of his persona. The A-side, Let’s Go, may well be his most catchy and upbeat song since the classic Rock And Roll Girl; and why wouldn’t it be when you have the brilliant Yums Yums as your backing band. This is classic, immediate, guitar-driven power pop. The flipside, She Says That She Loves Me, features an entirely different band and is almost the polar opposite of Let’s Go, with its slower pace and country twang showcasing a more mature and experienced Paul Collins. With its gatefold sleeve, this is quite an impressive 7 inch and well worth tracking down.
