Superscope combine the rocking guitar style of DM3 with the perfect pop sensibilities of Even, on this their second release and subsequently prove themselves to be one of Australia’s best new power pop bands. Lead guitarist and singer Kevin Borruso not only has a great voice, tailor made for this type of music but he also has a exceptional ear for melody as evidenced in both Reflection and Anniversary. When You ( Tune In) is another great song that has a slighter harder edge. The last song, When You Tuned In is an interesting but unessential extended version of the latter song. All in all, the most disappointing thing about this CD is that there is really only three songs.
