This is debut single for the now sadly defunt Melbourne band, The Stuntcar Drivers. Both songs feature great melodic mid-tempo rock and roll. The lead track, Science Fiction Mind, fits nicely somewhere inbetween You Am I and Challenger 7 while the flipside, Like Your Style, is more high energy rock and roll that sounds a lot like Iggy & The Stooges post-Raw Power. The only thing that stops this single from being an instant classic is the poor production. Nevertheless it still is very cool, especially for a young band.
