BACKGROUND
As I said
earlier, I reside in Suburban Mumbai(North-east)
in Mulund.
I hail from a respectable family in Kerala. Though by origin we are from
Tamil Nadu, our ancestral residence is Kerala. In Kerala, towards South-west,
in Calicut(now Kozhikode), a developed city.
It is
the same place where the famous portuguese navigator, Vasco da Gama
landed after months of dreaded sea travel.
In Kozhikode,
our house in on the East-hill road.
Its more
than fifty years old.
Our family
is a large one. My dad has got one sister, now in Palghat, and two brothers,
the eldest of whom is in Calicut. the other brother lives on the other
side of Mulund i.e. In East.
My dad's
sister has two sons and both of them are settled in different places.
My dad's
elder brother also has two sons. The elder one is now in the U.S. and the
younger one is finishing his graduation in Kerala.
My dad's
younger brother also has got two sons. The elder son is in his 9th grade
while the younger one, the smallest in our family, is still doing his primary
schooling.
Well,
my dad has got two children. A son(me!) and a daughter(the only girl child
in the entire family), who is my sister. I'm at present doing my 11th grade
and my sis is doing her final year graduation in Chemistry.
Coming
to my mom's side, I have to say that's its a big family and sweet indeed.
The eldest
of all, has a daughter who is married and well-settled. He is also the
grandpa of two cute children.
Following
suit, the second child also has two daughters. She resides in Malaysia.
She is also a granny of four smart children(a boy and girl of each daughter).
The third
child, my uncle, has a son and a daughter. Both of them are employed.
Fourth
child, who is also my uncle, has a daughter who is married. He is also
a proud grandpa of a cute, sweet and smart boy.
The fifth
child, again my uncle, is also married. He has a very nice wife, who is
one of favorite aunties.
The sixth
child, who is no more, has a son who is at present completing his graduation.
The seventh
child is my mom.
