"The Day the World Fell"
NOTE: This is written from Fei's point of view.
We had declared peace with Kislev and then we
defeated Solaris. Yet, something was wrong. Elly and
the others had ejected nanomachines into the sky and
we had hoped they were to rid the world of it's
barriers, it's resraints. We were wrong. On that
day, on that fateful day, the world fell. At first
the sky had glittered, as if to celebrate with us as
we were celebrating. All hands rose to it and all
people cheered. We had freed them. But something
much worse happened. They were transformed, mutated,
into -wels-, that was the day the world fell. We were
divided into 'have's and 'have-not's, niether fully
accepting the other. It ripped at the souls of all of
us. What had we fought for? We had failed to save
them, failed to save ourselves, failed to save the
world. That was the day the world fell.
