Rule One - All Free Persons are to be addressed as either Master or 
           Mistress. If the gender of the Free Person is not known,  
           or can not be determined from the name,Master is to be 
           used until the gender is clarified.  
 
           Most are forgiving when an innocent mistake is made.

Rule Two - Serve every Master or Mistress as if your life depends 
           on pleasing only them...it does

Rule Three - While you may believe a Free Person is not right, and 
             indeed they may be wrong, they are, by definition, 
             never WRONG. DO NOT argue with a Free Person, 
             you may find yourself punished harshly…or drawing your 
             last breath. Slaves always have the last word in any  
             disagreement
             ..the words;  Yes, Master….Yes, Mistress 

Rule Four - Jealousy and Possessiveness has found many a slave dead…
            learn quickly and you won't be killed...

Rule Five - Slaves do not use the first person pronoun. 
            There is no; I...me..my….or mine; in a slaves vocabulary..
            ..use...this slave...this girl/boy...or this one..... 
            Also...Tal used in a greeting is reserved for Free Persons
            ...slaves will use "greetings Master……"or some other term 
            of greeting.
            **Exception are slaves who are residents of Turia**

Rule Six - Perfection of Service and Submission is the goal, strive 
           for excellence, this may be tolerated

Rule Seven - Your collar carries the honour of your owner. 
             Your attitude and conduct can make this as light as a 
             feather or as heavy as a mountain.

Rule Eight - If there are none requiring service, use the time to 
             clean, cook, bake, practice serving techniques with 
             your sisters or learn about Gor. Do not be idle.

Rule Nine - Slaves possess nothing which has not given to them by 
            their owner, including their name. What is given can be 
            taken away. If you are fortunate enough to be entrusted 
            to carry a name for an owner, silks or jewellery, 
            remember that these can be removed just as easily as 
            they were given.

Rule Ten - The merest whim of your owner is your highest law. 
           Obey, or be punished. 

Rule Eleven - Intelligence and Wit are to be Rewarded—Laxity and 
              Laziness are punished....

Rule Twelve - Offer the patrons Food as well as Drink. If there is 
              a menu, consult it often.

Rule Thirteen - Popups and Macros in serving are to be avoided
                ....though are permitted for dancing

Rule Fourteen - Since a slave can not serve two masters fully at 
                the same time, she must not be in two channels at 
                the same time. Correct service is always the priority.
                And the slave shall not engage in any other 
                activities while serving a Master (i.e, msgs to 
                others) Appropriate greetings can be done after the 
                slave has been released from the task at hand.

Rule Fifteen - Fussing and Fidgeting are to be kept to a minimum. 
               Quiet Beauty, Wit and Charm are preferred to noisy 
               nonsense 

Rule Sixteen - The First Girl of any channel you are in, is to be 
               obeyed as if she were Free Person when a Free Person, 
               other than the Tavern/Inn Master's/Mistress', is not 
               present. 
               Her council, even when Free Person's are present, is 
               to be listened to.

Rule Seventeen - If you are serving a patron fix your attention on 
                 him or her only, otherwise greet those who enter, 
                 using Master or Mistress as appropriate. All Free 
                 Person's are to be served equally regardless of sex,
                 race, philosophy or planet of origin. Slaves who 
                 pick and choose; WILL be punished.  

Rule Eighteen - Visiting other Taverns or Inns or other places on 
                Gor carries the risks of those places. Be cautious.

Rule Nineteen - Slave Heat is only to be used if the kajira truly 
                WANTS to entice the Master or Mistress. If you 
                display slave heat, be prepared to be used as a slave.

**Exception..MOST Free Women will concider it a INSULT if you expose
             your heat to Them..BE SURE it is desired before doing so**

1. Beg entrance..using Kar-ta...

example : the slave kneels at the doorway ..touching his /her forhead to
          cool hardwood floors(the Hall) or tiles(Dungeon), hands
          reaching out before him/her, palms up or wrists crossed
          left over right and beg "may this slave enter please?"

NO EXCEPTIONS! 

If booted by the net gods or your isp if you return in 5minutes re
enter the Hall and say "please forgive a girl/boy but it seems the 
gods decided to remove her/him from your presences briefly"

2. When at the feet of a Master/Mistress ask permission to speak 
   otherwise keep your mouth shut unless spoken too by the Master
   or Mistress you serve..when in doubt ASK!

3. The Dungeon is a training facilty..NOT a playroom..Listen, Observe
   and ASK questions when not sure of something..always speak with
   respect...Your life may depend on it

4. The Hall is not a brothel..nor is it a place to be rude...IF you 
   are new seek out the First Girl or ask for help from one of the
   OP's..The Senior Op's are "Master Pantos, Master Caleb, Master 
   Umbar, Master ^LionLord and Master Zeddric" 

5. First Girl of Lar`Torvis Hall is jesse{L`T}..within the Dungeon
   there is no first girl but ptite{LL} & kylae{LL} & ja{Z}den are
   always willing to answer questions ..if they cannot help you
   they will seek someone who can

6. Training is avaiable for those who truly seek to learn..If you 
   desire just to play GO ELSEWHERE

Slaves are not allowed to handle any device or instrument that can 
be construed as a weapon. 

Slaves are never allowed to handle money. (in the event that she is 
offered coins to take to her Owner, the free person offering the coin
should place it in the mouth of the slave to carry) 
 
An uncollared slave, may be disciplined by ANY free person. 

A collared slave may only be disciplined by the Owner. If the slave 
becomes disruptive, they may be taken to task (spoken to by Ops), and
the slave is required to make their Owner aware of such events. In 
the event that their Owner cannot be made aware of such events (i.e, 
vacation and such), the Ops may administer fit discipline and will 
notify the Owner of the slave of the infraction. BEWARE: Each 
channel will have their own rules regarding the punishment of all 
slaves (i.e. Some will punish both collared and uncollared slaves 
appropriately should an infringement has occurred.)
 
Slaves are to be pleasing at all times, there is no room for PMS, 
or bad moods. If your not up to being pleasing, do not enter the 
channels. Excellence and perfection in a slave is the goal, only 
that will be tolerated.

Permission is also needed to go AFK (away from keyboard) but if your 
going to be longer than just a minute or two, it is best to ask to 
leave the channel. If a slave is granted permission to go AFK, the 
nick of the slave should reflect such, likewise if a slave is in the 
alcove. This helps the channel OPs to know the whereabouts of the 
slave. It offers the slave the greatest protection.

Slaves cannot be forced into any alcove ... nor can a slave be forced
into a collar... if a slave feels overwhelmed by a Free Person's 
advances contact a channel Operative ..that is what they are they 
for, or post the problem to the channel. 

Slaves are to be pleasing at all times. Your life on GOR depends 
greatly on it. The slave should always be in good spirits and ready 
to serve upon demand.

Slaves, think before reacting to any situation. What occurs in the 
Tavern/Inn is between Free Person's. It concerns no slave, unless 
the slave has been found displeasing.

GOR is NOT fair. GOR is NOT just.
