Kevin Thompson Young
Date of Birth: September 18th, 1966
Musical Talents: Piano [approximately 19 years] the organ, vocals, tuba and trumpet.
Education: Kevin studied music at both Simon Frasier and Queens University. He also holds a Degree in music from the Berkley School of Music.
Past Jobs: Kevin has taught piano.
Family: Kevin has a brother. His parents are often seen at Toronto Moist concerts.
Musical Influences: Queen, Alice Cooper, the West Coast punk scene.
Nicknames: Jennikens [from a former girlfriend], Squid Boy.
Role in the Formation of Moist: Kevin and David moved out to Vancouver together, they played together in bands before. Kevin hosted a party where they met Mark and Jeff, and thus formed MOIST [for the exception of Paul]
Past Bands: Kevin and David played in a "twisted folk" duo, which is said to have influenced the sound of Moist. He also played in a band with David, Russ Allert and Brian Rice.

Interesting bit of Info: Kevin is responsible for the Moist newsletters that are sent out every once and awhile. He is occasionally destructive [puts holes in his walls]. As a child Kevin played the Tuba in a Salvation Army Band. He is left handed. His hands constantly shake. He wears contacts.
