I have posted the quebec instore dates below. Also, it seems that a show in montreal will definitely happen
in mid august. We are hoping that it will be a free show, but the details are still being worked out. The
picture above doesn't have much to do with anything, except i was amazed when i got back from edgefest how
much the grapes in my backyard have grown.

Today we are in Edmonton. Our friend and crew member don took this shot of david as he was out in the crowd this evening.
Now it is pouring rain for Hole's set, but the audience is having a great time. Everyone is already starting to talk about how
great a tour it was, and how quickly its going by, and plans are being made for some kind of party when we get to Vancouver.

Its a beautiful morning in saskatoon. All the bands are hanging out on the lawns where
the buses are, some recovering from a fun night in calgary last night, at a birthday party for courtney love. There have been lots
of opportunities for the bands to get to know each other better, which is making this travelling carnival feel more intimate
all the time.

We had a great show in winnipeg last night, despite some technical problems. It was an earlier show, so we were playing in
daylight, but that made it easier for us to see how great the fans were. Now we are in Swift Current, stopped for showers and
food on our way to Calgary. We are looking forward to getting in there and having a night of hanging out, experiencing all the
fun things that go on in Calgary while the stampede is happening.

16,000 FANS FLOCK TO EDGEFEST
ROCKFEST HAS IT ALL: THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE TRULY OUTRAGEOUS
If it all boils down to great songs, Edgefest 99 can be summed up this way: Hole, Moist Matthew Good Band, Wide Mouth Mason and Treble charger have 'em; Silverchair, Big Wreck and Len have a couple each; Edwin, Big Wreck and Finger Eleven need'em. The details: ...
After a prolonged absence from the road - it's been at least a year - Moist proved they're still a force on the Canadian scene. They're back.
Back in Black, in fact, with a scorching version of the AC/DC song shoved into Push. The band rocked hard, cleraly deserving the second-highest spot at the top of the bill. Songs from teh new, mellower album meshed well with the cranked-up older hits, and singer David Usher was his old manic self, even venturing into the seething crowd.

Moist
Moist have definitely proven
they're back.
A year off can mean some rust,
maybe even some tension for a
band, given idle time. Seeing
how this was Moist's first live
show in a year, there may have
been worry. But there was no
rust or dissention when Usher,
Wilcox and the rest of them
rockers hit the stage. Weaving
together a mix of both their old
and new (they've just released a
new record Mercedes Five And
Dime), the band managed to
keep riveted an audience which
should have been more
concerned with finding warm
socks in the wet, wild Park
grounds.
Things began to steamroll for
Moist right from the get-go of
"Tangerine," easily recognizable,
it set a hard-rock singalong
mood. What would then follow
would be more of the same.
"Silver" was solid, "Breathe"
proved Moist are indeed evolving
as artists, and "Push," well, just
continued to show Moist at their
intense peak. Welcome back.

Moist
The battle to do the coolest
cover song has officially begun.
With Hole doing Bryan Adams,
Helix and Sloan and Big Wreck
doing The Police, The
Lemonheads and Led Zepplin,
now Moist is getting in on the
act. Tonight, in addition to their
regular complement of
super-hits ("Breathe," "Silver,"
etc), Usher and company sent
many jaw a-gape by pounding
out none other than AC/DC's
"Back In Black." The future's
looking pretty good for the
Western acts if this all keeps
up...
