Yes, i know i don't update very often. i very sorry. i am not completely there..

David Usher was featured in the National Post over the weekend. In BEAUTRY TIPS OF THE GODS David Usher, Singer from Moist, says, "I"m into power yoga, and my wife and I fast every eight months. We won't eat for two days - we just drink a mixture of lemon, water and cayenne. Then we eat steamed vegetables and brown rice for five days. After that we go out and retox, eat crappy food, like macaroni and cheese, and drink beer. We live a life of extremes.

        Moist in the Maritimes...
As this is being written we are a few minutes away from getting on the tour bus to head east for five shows in the Atlantic Provinces, including a long overdue visit to Prince Edward Island. We aren't visiting as many cities as we would like to, and we appreciate the emails from people wondering why we aren't coming to their towns, but we will be planning a return visit soon, which will hopefully touch all the places we couldn't make it to this time. For details on this show see the tour dates section below.

The rest of our fall tour dates will be announced very soon, and i will post them here as soon as the dates are confirmed, so keep checking this page for information.

"Underground" is the name of our new single. Request it from your local radio station. The video is almost completed and will be arriving at MuchMusic and MusiquePlus soon!!

Anyway, I'm just looking for insighttful questions from the fans, and thought some of you would appreciate it.

Don't forget to vote (or dial 1-800-226-VOTE), the Much Music Video Awards are on Thursday.

Jeff updated www.moist.ca and the official page.

New Tour Dates and a Correction
We have just announced some tour dates for the fall that will take us on a trip through the maritimes. Unfortunately the previously announced Sydney show at UCCB has been put on hold, due to circumstances beyond our control. These shows are at universities, but all shows are also open to the general public.Check below for details.
Our dates for the rest of the country will be announced very soon.

For people in Kingston and area...
This sunday, September 19th, there will be a benefit concert held at Lake Ontario Park for the memory of Joe Chitahalen. Joe was a very good friend of ours and we think this show is a great way to remember him, as well as a great way to raise money for charity.. There will be lots of great bands and lots of guest musicians, and it promises to be an excellent day.

Moist will be touring in the maritimes next week, but Mark and David will be fly back to Toronto to be presenters at the MMVAS on the 23rd.

Stir of Echoes opened last Friday (i forgot to mention it but i'm sure those of you who cared already knew).

Other useless piece of information Student Price Cards (SPC for Canadians only -sorry) have Moist stickers.. something like that.

      Sunday, September 12th 1999

If you wish please take the time to send warm birthday wishes to Mark and Kevin. Please click the online birthday card from OMP.

      Thursday, September 9th 1999

Moist is touring universities again. See the right or tourdates for September dates.

Breathe is #1 on the MuchMusic Countdown and Musique Plus' Decompte. We are very excited about this, since it is our first number one video in a couple of years. We want to thank everyone who requested it!
However tomorrow Moist will drop to #3 on the Countdown behind Christina Aguilera and Lauryn Hill.

The next single off Mercedes Five and Dime is Underground but we all new that anyway.

Moist will be presenting an award at the muchmusic video awards 99 (unfortunately, they will not be performing).
