Happy final moments of 1999. We hope everyone had a great holidays. We did, taking some time to take off in five separate directions so we could spend Christmas with our loved ones.
We thought we would be reconvening in Montreal tomorrow to get ready for the New Year's Eve show in Ottawa, but we have just found out that the show has been cancelled. The the show will not be happening. We apologize to all our fans who were looking forward to this show, particularly those of you who were going to be trekking to Ottawa from all over the country. A couple of us are still going to be there, so if you happen to see us on parliament hill, feel free to come over and say hi.
We will try to schedule an Ottawa show early in the New Year, along with a few shows in other parts of the country. Keep
watching the tour area below for details.

At long last the tour is about to begin. Check back to this site for

glitch that i have been dealing with). We are looking forward to
getting together with many of you as we travel from coast to

Yes, i know i don't update very often. i very sorry. i am not completely there..
David Usher was featured in the National Post over the weekend. In BEAUTRY TIPS OF THE GODS David Usher, Singer from Moist, says, "I"m into power yoga, and my wife and I fast every eight months. We won't eat for two days - we just drink a mixture of lemon, water and cayenne. Then we eat steamed vegetables and brown rice
for five days. After that we go out and retox, eat crappy food, like macaroni and cheese, and drink beer. We live a life of extremes.

This aired primarily in Quebec, although Jeff mentioned people in Ontario might have been able to pick it up on
channel 58 or 59.
The fall tour dates should have been announced by the end of this week but they weren't so we will probably do that next week. Tickets will be on sale soon.

Moist in the Maritimes...
As this is being written we are a few minutes away from
getting on the tour bus to head east for five shows in the
Atlantic Provinces, including a long overdue visit to
Prince Edward Island. We aren't visiting as many cities
as we would like to, and we appreciate the emails from
people wondering why we aren't coming to their towns,
but we will be planning a return visit soon, which will
hopefully touch all the places we couldn't make it to this
time. For details on this show see the tour dates section
below.
The rest of our fall tour dates will be announced very
soon, and i will post them here as soon as the dates are
confirmed, so keep checking this page for information.

Hi, my name's Stephen McQuaid, from PEI.
I do various music articles for the univeristy paper.
I am going to be interviewing Moist on Wednesday afternoon.
Does anyone have a really good and serious question to ask them? If so, send it to smcquaid@upei.ca
Not this list, 'cause I won't be comin' back.
I will only accept questions until Wednesday at around lunchtime (The interview is around 4 or 5).
If I use your question, I may send you an e-mail of the interview.
Anyway, I'm just looking for insighttful questions from the fans, and thought some of you would appreciate it.
Don't forget to vote (or dial 1-800-226-VOTE), the Much Music Video Awards are on Thursday.
David was on Cimetiere des CD with Claude Rajotte (MusiquePlus) on September 17th to discuss his 'Top 5 CDs'.

New Tour Dates and a Correction
We have just announced some tour dates for the fall that
will take us on a trip through the maritimes. Unfortunately
the previously announced Sydney show at UCCB has been
put on hold, due to circumstances beyond our control.
These shows are at universities, but all shows are also open
to the general public.Check below for details.
Our dates for the rest of the country will be announced very
soon.
For people in Kingston and area...
This sunday, September 19th, there will be a benefit
concert held at Lake Ontario Park for the memory of Joe
Chitahalen. Joe was a very good friend of ours and we
think this show is a great way to remember him, as well as a
great way to raise money for charity.. There will be lots of
great bands and lots of guest musicians, and it promises to
be an excellent day.
Moist will be touring in the maritimes next week, but Mark and David will be fly back to Toronto
to be presenters at the MMVAS on the 23rd.
Stir of Echoes opened last Friday (i forgot to mention it but i'm sure those of you who cared already knew).
Other useless piece of information Student Price Cards (SPC for Canadians only -sorry) have Moist stickers.. something like that.

However tomorrow Moist will drop to #3 on the Countdown behind Christina Aguilera and Lauryn Hill.
