The morning started out okay, I got up at 6:40, got ready, and waited for Lori's dad to come pick me, and two other friends up. We drove to Shédiac, and got there at about 11 o'clock, got in an IMMENSE lineup, and waited, and waited...finally we made it to security, and since they only frisked us from the waist down, I GOT MY CAMERA IN! (It was stuffed in my bra, hehe). It was totally nerve wracking though...cuz I thought for sure they'd catch me. It all paid off in the end. When we got through security..we headed straight for the main stage and we ended up about front row dead center. Well, once again...we waited and waited in front of the stage...it ended up we waited 5 hours for the first band to play! It was so boring, tiring, and full of pot smoke that I thought I was gonna die..and after all that waiting Esthero came on...and the moshing was SO HORRIBLE that my friends and I had to shove our way outta there. So that's 5 hours of my time totally wasted. Esthero finished...they weren't that good I don't think, and when Sloan came on, we headed back into the crowd. We didn't go in too far,cuz we didn't wanna get killed...but when they were over...we headed out for a piss break. Sloan did an AWESOME job...I had alotta fun during them. When we got back from the piss break, I Mother Earth was playing already. Knowing that Moist was coming on next..we got pretty close to the stage...but as I mother Earth finished...the crowd waned a bit cuz people needed a piss and food...and drugs..stuff like that...so we pushed our way even closer to the stage. We ended up almost center, with about 3-4 people deep in front of us...so we had a DAMN good view, it was amazing. And blah, blah...my friends and I were talking, and I just happened to say "Finally...something that I'll be able to sing along with all the songs!!!" And the girl in front of us turned around and said.."Omigod, me too...Moist is all I came for." Then we talked and GUESS WHAT?!? the girl that we were talking to turned out to be Venessa (aka tainted wine) it was such an amazing coincidence..I almost died. We were like...talking and shit...and MOIST came on!!! Holy shit, did the crowd ever come alive! I don't remember the order that the songs were played in, but they played Push, Machine Punch Through, Ophelia, Gasoline, Tangerine, Resurrection, I think maybe Shotgun, and at the end...IME came out and did a funky little Jesus Was My Girl. It kicked ass! As you probably already figured out, I was like TOTALLY CRAZY! I was screaming SO LOUD, and singing to all the songs, jumping around and shit..falling over cuz it was so crowded and people were pushing. Dave sprayed water on us...and yes..I ot some on me (I'm never taking a shower again..j/k!!) and he also poured some on poor little Jeffy's head...I guess he doesn't know that water and electric instruments don't usually mix...but thankfully, there were no fatalitys. Gasoline was sooo beautiful! It was like totally calm, and people had out their lighters, and the lights were really cool..yadda yadda. And..EVERYONE was crying in joy...hehe..yes...me included...I talked to so many nice Moist fans..it kicked. But ANYWAYS...I think Dave and Mark both might have made eye contact with me...but you can't really be sure with this stuff...but I was REALLY close..and crazy (ask venessa) so it could be possible I guess. Oh yes..I saw one girl faint...and..Lori and I got seperated, and I took sooo many good pics...so did my bud Megan..well..they SHOULD be good at least, unless they aren't focused cuz there was too much moshing and shit, but I'll soon find out anyways. Hmm...when Moist was done...I TOTALLY broke down...it was so overwhelming seeing them SO CLOSE for the first time...my friends were asking me if I was okay and stuff...of course I was...I was sooooo happy! I don't think I've ever been so satisfied in my life...it was crazy shit. What else...after Moist, I was too tired to stay and watch OLP, so we went to get some drinks..I bought a Moist shirt...and got a water and a pop cuz I hadn't had anything to eat or drink (besides a pop) since 10 in the morning...and we listened to OLP from afar, and...that's it...we started to leave after searching for Lori with no sucess...and then we waited outside the gates for her..we found her..and we left in her rents car. We had a helluva time fitting 7 people in a car..but that just made it all the more special..hehe. Oh yes..I forgot about the drunk guys coming on to me...and the mud slides..people were COVERED from head to toe in mud! I can honestly say that I didn't go mudsliding, but I sure got my share of it...and my new fucking shoes..and jeans..and shirt, cuz it rained for a bit...and the mud was all soft and gooey. But my god..I had the absolute time of my life! Moist was the life of the party! ahhh!!! I cried for such a long time afterwards too..it was weird...I wasn't sad AT ALL, just totally overwhelmed. My first concert was officially a sucess! Ta da! Hope you enjoyed my short little review..teehee! *hugs for all* I hope you all survived this long! Oh shit...I forgot to say what the guys were wearing. Dva e was wearing khaki colored levis cords...and his ass was sooo soaked..hehe...and a blue button up shirt i think...mark..oh fuck..what was mark wearing? oh well...I can't remember, Kev either...but Jeff was wearing like a satiny type blue or green shirt and jeans I think, and I could hardly see Paul...just his shiny bald head, so he could have been wearing nothing and it wouldn't have mattered to me. Yes..I'm done..yeh...I can't get to sleep..I had too much fun! I hope you guys all had as amazing a time Idid at my first moist experience!
