SISTER

Originally intended as the final song on CREATURE. A good idea gone horribly awry. Layers of cool schmaltzy folk piled on top of really nifty bass line and then played over and over again, ever less enthusiastically in an effort to bend, pervert and tranform what sounds just fine as a sweet little mid tempo folk tune into a fast, gritty, angst ridden, burner. Classic case of five guys messing with a song so much that in the end they completely forgot what they liked about it in the first place.

She leaves her wings on the west
The sweetest voices relay
And cruicifies me to change
And still destroyed all the same

Oh sister I believe
Look what you've done to me
Hail sister I believe
Look what you've done to me

And empty angels will lead
And empty angels await

Oh sister I believe
Look what you've done to me
Hail sister I believe
Look what you've done to me

I lost her words on the wings
The sweetest voices relay
She crucifies me to change
It still destroys me the same

Oh sister I believe
Look what you've done to me
Hail sister I believe
Look what you've done to me
