This page is for all who have lost a beloved pet. May you find some comfort in these words...

In loving memory of 'LEROY' who began his wait to cross the Rainbow Bridge on March 8, 2002. Rest there my friend until we can join you.

Also in memory of my dear girl 'MAZOLA' who was with me for 20 years---from 1984 until June 4, 2004. Wait there for me baby girl...

I need to add several more names to the list of my beloved pets...
Bart who was born in my dish towel drawer on March 6, 1997 and left for the Rainbow Bridge on July 14, 2004. I hope you finally got all you wanted to eat.
Fuffer who never gave me a bit of trouble...he stayed outside most of his life. I miss his beautiful long hair and his gentle face.
Reese and her 2 sisters Tripod, and Cocoa. Your brother Skittles remains with me...for now. All born in the same litter on February 16, 2003 but left seperately.
My beloved Buck, born February 16, 2003 and died on November 5, 2004. A piece of my heart went with you. You knew how very special you were to me. Your mother has left a new charge for me to take care of...your little sister. I will tell her all about her wonderful big brother.
All of you babies please wait there for me. I will be surrounded with love when I get there. Until then, you remain inside my memory and close to my heart.

"Just this side of Heaven is a place called RAINBOW BRIDGE. When an animal, that has been especially close to someone here, dies, that pet goes to RAINBOW BRIDGE. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine; and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals that had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing---they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent, his eager body begins to quiver with anticipation. Suddenly, he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands once again caress the beloved head and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the RAINBOW BRIDGE together..."

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any seperation from you will be very painful.

2. Give me time to understand what you expect from me.

3. Place your trust in me---it is crucial for my well-being.

4. Don't be angry with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment; I have only you.

5. Talk to me; even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice as you speak to me.

6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget.

7. Before you hit me, remember that I have teeth that could crush the bones in your hand---but I choose not to bite you.

8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, please ask yourself if something might be bothering me; perhaps I am not getting the proper food, or I have been in the hot sun too long, or my heart may be getting old and weak.

9. Take care of me when I get old; you too will grow old.

10. Go with me on those difficult journeys. Never say, 'I can't bear to watch it' or 'Let it happen without my presence.' Everything is easier for me if you are there. Remember, I love you.
