
Didgeridu History
The didgeridoo is the oldest wind instrument in the world. It is traditionally made from a termite hollowed piece of eucalyptus.
The didgeridoo is recognized to be an Australian Aboriginal wind instrument. The Aborigionals use the didgeridoo in many ceremonies which differ from region to region.
It originated in north east Arnehm Land and slowly spread across Australia. The didgeridoo has spread much further since it's creation, people from all over play the didgeridoo for various reasons including meditation.
The didgeridoo's sound is becoming increasingly popular and is finding its way into contemporary music.
