Regional
Dua Home Page belongs to the Bureau for Regional II Development, of the
National Development Planning Agency, the Republic of Indonesia (BAPPENAS)
The main
responsibility for the Bureau for Regional Dua is in reviewing and programming
the policy for the development of the Eastern
Indonesia Region
Eastern
Indonesia region consists of 13 provinces, among the 27 provinces of Indonesia,
as follows: West
Kalimantan;
Central
Kalimantan;
South Kalimantan;
East
Kalimantan;
North
Sulawesi;
Central
Sulawesi;
South Sulawesi;
Southeast
Sulawesi;
West
Nusa Tenggara;
East Nusa Tenggara;
East
Timor;
Maluku,
and Irian
Jaya
The Bureau
for Regional II Development of BAPPENAS is divided into three divisions:

Division for the
Regional II Development Assistance

Division for the
Region I for the Eastern Indonesia (comprises of 8 provinces in Kalimantan
and Sulawesi region)

Division for the
Region II of the Eastern Indonesia Region (comprises of 5 provinces in
eastern islands region)
