February issue of the Journal of the Puerto Rican Medical Association reported
on a growing number of cases of premature sexual development of children, which
included cases of children from one to five years old, male and female, with
enlarged breasts, accelerated puberty, vaginal bleeding in five year old girls,
and other similar problems. If this happened to one of your children, how would you feel?[1]
They discovered that when they took these children off meat and fresh milk, the
symptoms would often regress. According to the report, it was "clearly observed
in 97% of the cases that the appearance of abnormal breast tissue was related
to the consumption of whole milk in the infant group and to the consumption of
local whole milk, poultry and beef in the older group. Obviously, regulations
regarding livestock are not as well enforced in Puerto Rico as in other parts
of the United States, so the dose might have been higher, but these substances
are also present in varying quantities in all meat, egg and dairy products in
the continental United States.[2]
It is apparent by the research reports that the concept of drugs and other
substances in animals affecting humans has been known about for almost 30
years, yet these substances and many more are added to animal feed and injected
into animals today in the United States. The European Economic Community banned
$130 million of U.S. beef imports in 1989 because of hormone implants.[3] Yet,
in spite of this, the public is not told, and they continue to consume these
substances, much to the benefit of the meat, egg, dairy, medical and
pharmaceutical industries. It also tends to cut down on the population, which
is one of the premises of Matrix III, especially the second volume. If you
haven't got M3V2, you're missing out on the entire picture.
Even in the continental United States, we are seeing more and more premature
sexual development in our children. Along with this, doctors are also seeing an
expanding assortment of sexual abberations. Other countries are also
experiencing the same trend. Analysis of the problem in Britain resulted in the
determination that hormone traces in the meat of chemically fattened livestock
are causing British school girls to mature sexually at least three years
earlier than in the past. We will discuss estrogenic chemicals later.
Invariably, doctors (not knowing what the problem really is) blame the problem
on a dysfunction of the child's endocrine system, which is not the case at all.
The problem does not stop with children. Both adults and children in the United
States are experiencing a plethora of behavior disorders connected to uncertain
and confused sexual identities that arise partially from externally induced
hormonal imbalances. We are seeing an increase in sexual abuse of children. It
might be noted here that vaccines are also contributing to the growing problem
of aberrant behavior, conduct disorders, learning disabilities and crime,
including sexually related crimes. This is discussed in another chapter.

Leptin, a naturally occurring hormone found to regulate food intake, appears to be a factor that triggers the onset of reproductive function in laboratory mice, according to the results of a new study by researchers at UC San Francisco. The researchers injected human leptin into normal female mice, who showed several measurable signs of early puberty, the researchers report in the January 3 issue of the journal Science. The mice experienced the mouse equivalent of a menstrual cycle earlier in life, began mating and reproducing earlier and showed physical signs of early maturity, compared to control mice, the researchers reported. "Our conclusion is that leptin is a factor that starts the cascade that leads to reproductive function," said Farid Chehab, PhD, UCSF associate professor of laboratory medicine and lead author of the study. Though it is not known what major factors control the onset of puberty, scientists have theorized that the process may be related to food intake and body fat. For instance, it has been observed that obese girls reach puberty earlier in life, while very lean ballet dancers may experience delayed puberty, Chehab said. In the 1960s and 1970s, researchers postulated that animals begin to reproduce once they have gained enough energy in the form of fat--the so-called critical fat hypothesis, Chehab said. "Our study confirms that theory--that you need to accumulate a certain amount of fat to trigger reproduction," he said. Leptin, it appears, is the element contained in fat that signals to the brain to begin the process that leads to reproduction, he said. Chehab and his colleagues began to investigate the link between leptin and reproduction two years ago when the hormone was first identified. In a study published in early 1996, he and his colleagues found that sterile, obese mice treated with the hormone were able to become pregnant and deliver healthy pups. They concluded that leptin was involved in reproduction, as well as weight control. In the latest study, the researchers injected normal mice with relatively large doses of the hormone when they were 21 days old and just being weaned from their mothers. All of the mice treated with leptin lost weight and ate less, compared to their counterparts, who were injected with a saline solution. Though the leptin-treated mice lost fat, they showed a number of signs of early sexual maturity, the researchers found. "We tricked the brain into thinking the mouse is fat by introducing leptin into the body," Chehab said. "Once the brain received the signal, it switched on reproduction." In normal mice, the first sign of puberty generally begins at 30 days of life with the opening of the vagina, which is sealed at birth. That is followed by the beginning of the estrous cycle, or the equivalent of the human menstrual cycle, Chehab said. Mice only mate during the peak period of this 5- or 6-day cycle and experience peaks and lows in hormones during this time, he said. Among mice treated with leptin, the researchers found that the hormone triggered the opening of the vagina one to four days earlier than in the control mice. The leptin-treated mice also progressed sooner into their first estrous cycle, with five of the 12 leptin-treated mice reaching estrus by day 29. None of the control mice had reached estrus at this point, the researchers reported. In another experiment, the researchers examined both treated and untreated mice for the presence of a copulatory plug, a substance secreted by males that temporarily blocks the vaginal opening. The plug, which is an indicator of sexual activity, was present in 85 percent of the leptin-treated group between 30 and 39 days, compared to just 17 percent in the control group. Forty-six percent of the leptin-treated mice and 42 percent of the control mice became pregnant and delivered healthy pups, the researchers reported. "That tells us that leptin does not interfere with pregnancy," Chehab said. "As would be expected, not all of the mice became pregnant on their first cycle." The researchers then sacrificed the mice to examine their reproductive organs, which generally become larger as the animals mature. In the leptin group, the uteri were 53 percent larger than in the untreated mice, while the ovaries were 37.5 percent larger, the researchers found. Finally, the researchers measured levels of two hormones in the sacrificed mice--gonadotropin luteinizing hormone and estradiol, an estrogen. Among the leptin-treated mice, these hormone levels were lower than in the control mice, as the animals already had completed estrus and were in a resting stage, when hormone levels decrease, Chehab said. Chehab said leptin could be useful in some patients with medical conditions related to reproduction. For instance, it could be helpful in patients with anorexia nervosa, whose menstrual cycles have stopped because of reduced fat stores, he said. However, he said leptin should be applied in humans only after careful clinical trials. Chehab's colleagues in the study are Khalid Mounzih, PhD, UCSF post-doctoral fellow in laboratory medicine; Ronghua Lu, PhD, UCSF assistant research biochemist; and Mary E. Lim, BS, UCSF staff research associate.
