Prayer Of A Dying Man
Lift me Lord I plea,
from my sinnful way.
I ask You in this prayer,
for I'm dying here today
Upon departing life,
when the color leaves my face
I long to live and dwell,
in Your Sacred Holy place.
Wash me in Your cleansing Blood,
O' precious One Divine,
I must be in purity
of body, soul and mind.
Comfort me, walk with me,
this journey I must bear,
Dear Lord, I hear the call
of Heaven's Portals over there.
