The Globe Theater was designed in ways that easily enabled a play to be performed. It allowed more than sufficient space to work with, as well as a variety of environments to portray. The easy accessibility throughout the building was also a positive factor. Overall, the large structure and various representations the theater provided made for a pleasant performance.

The Globe Theater provided a large amount of space to use. It had three stories and multiple areas that could be used for acting throughout a performance. The platform stage, inner stage, balcony stage, and music gallery were only some of those available.

These different spots were very easy to get to because of the prominent access ways. Stairways connected various doors, allowing access from one level to the next. There was also a large trap door that provided availability to the area beneath the platform stage. All in all, the proficient design consisting of spacious rooms and easy maneuvering prompted a successful performance in the Globe Theater.

The design of the building also allowed various environments to be represented. The many varieties in which curtains could be drawn and tapestry hangings could be placed enabled a variety of enclosed scenes to be represented. This made performing plays, such as Julius Caesar, which calls for different settings, easy and able to be sufficiently done.

The skillful design of the Globe Theater enabled plays to be performed in a more enjoyable and accurate manner. For this reason, it was a positive, rather than negative, contributor to a performance.
