Sean is the rebellious young son of Gregory, the man who practically owns SB. Sean doesn't get along with his father because Gregory has tried to control him, his sister, Caitlin, and his mother, Olivia. Sean even lied to police authorities to protect Olivia when she was a suspect in Del Douglas' murder. Last year, Sean had a thing for Tiffany Thorne as did Mark Wolper, and they got into a fight over her. Due to that fight, Sean fell and hit his head, and had to have emergency brain surgery. After the surgery, Sean was temporarily blind.

Olivia didn't like Tiffany so she paid her to write a good-bye letter to Sean saying that she was leaving town. Sean was heart-broken, especially after he found out that Olivia was behind the whole thing. Since then, Sean has dated Amy Dreyer off and on, but now he only has eyes for Emily Davis.

Sean also has a passion for rapping that he didn't want people to know about. His girlfriend, Emily, confided in her mother about Sean's passion and he became angry with her and called off the relationship.

When Emily said that she was leaving town, Sean didn't understand why. Little did he know that Brad and Amy had sent a fake e-mail to Emily. With the help of his new buddy, Leo, and Emily's mother, Bette, Sean stopped Emily from leaving Sunset BEach. Sean also got over his insecurities about his rapping and he performed at the opening of The Shockwave.
