Hi! I'm a new Rufus fan and I saw him in Portland, Oregon 4/21/99.
He showed up at Music Millenium (music store) and gave a short concert
It was so wonderful! The stage is like two feet away from me as I
sat one of the couches situated in a cozy living room atmosphere; it
was like he was performing for you in your home.

Well, he was wearing blue jeans (70's ish), striped shirt, and a cute
grey sweater that was his mother's (she'd knitted it was she was in
high school or something).

He really has a cute and friendly personality; I got an autograph and a
picture with him. I was really suprised taking pictures of him were
allowed! They didn't want you using your flash though.

Some woman that gave him a pink rose said to him , while he was on
stage..."Hey, I would love to show you around Portland !" He responds
was something like..."Oh ya, I know you'd try to take me to your
apartment; I know what you want." Then he laughed and said, "Uh,
Security!" and points to her ; he was just joking though. We all
were laughing.
