In what could be one of the top debut albums in the past year, Creed comes through with a great mix of rock, heavy metal, and alternative throughout a CD that shines with great vocals and good guitar. Their radio hit "My Own Prison" is a good indication of how good the other stuff is. As is not the case with most other albums, you can get sick of that song and still have others to enjoy as much as you did the original. The song "One" is one of the best on the album and may be one of the best songs I have heard this year also. Check out "Pity For a Dime" and "What's This Life For?".
