The D46 class were built by English Electric (Australia) for both the Western
Australia Government Railways and Goldsworthy Mining (later BHP) in Western
Australia. Two of the WAGR ones, later went to Goldsworthy and when becoming
excess to demand, they were transfered across Australia to the companies
Port Kembla works.

Leased from Chicago Freightcar Leasing (Australia), 103 (ex 4537) is an Alco DL541
locomotive, with its high short end, lowered.
