The fateful day was March 22, 1997 -- Reese's 21st birthday.

According to Ryan, he didn't really think he was invited to the party at all. A friend told him about it and he decided to go since he knew he could get free drinks and food all night. It turns out that Reese had infact intended to invite Ryan since she'd wanted to meet him.

The two spoke a lot that night, and obviously hit it off quite well. The next morning, he left for Southport, North Carolina to begin filming I Know What You Did Last Summer. Reese and Ryan exchanged letters and phone calls while Ryan was away, but didn't actually have their first date until Ryan had finished filming, five weeks after they had first met.

Two years later, Ryan and Reese now live together in Los Angeles with their two dogs and they just recently moved into a new house. The couple were married on Saturday June 5th, 1999, and the latest news is that their daughter, Ava Elizabeth was born in early September.
