Often the Layer 3 codec comes with a lot of CD rippers and such, but if not (like audiograbber) here's the L3CODEC to Download !!!
Converting from mp3 to wav is just as easy with a little program called MP32WAV A older program, it's does a excellent job of converting to large sized wav files for use with CD burning software. The main drawback is that it will not do mp2 files and mp3's with variable bit rates (like winamp), but is a lot easier to use then winamp in configuring for conversion. Give it a try if you have a bunch of fixed rate mp3's to convert over. This is a swiss army knife of audio format encoders and converters, where you can add multiple codecs. Be warned, some of the codecs you have to pay money for with the newer versions of the software, but still maybe worth while to look into. It really depends on what you want to convert and encode.
TRIPLE DECK CART MACHINE FOR WINDOWS 95 With a Broadcasting Background, I found a neat WAV player that looks and acts like a Broadcast Cartridge Deck...or in England, they call them "Jingle Machines" The Broadcast Cartridge is the Forerunner of the "8 Track" though far more dependable..and if you have seen recent TV shows or movie with Radio Studios and racks of "tapes" on the wall, or else where, chances are, it was "carts' as they are called in the biz....While I cannot give you a "cart" tape deck ( I CAN give you a "virtual" cart player that will play wavs...just found this..I have it installed myself...works great..and it's FREEWARE!!!!!! which is about 720k and works well.
