This is one of the simplest spells I have ever seen or heard of.

Peel an apple, keeping the entire peel in one long thin strip. Then throw the peeling over your left shoulder. If it stays in one piece it will reveal the initial of your one true love.

Further, it is said that after finding the initial of your love, if you cut the apple in half and count the seeds, it will fortell how many childern you will have from the union.
