Hello, so happy you stopped by.
I would like to introduce myself,
and my family to you.
My name is Sally
(Sarah on my birth certificate)
which I'm seldom called,
but I did use it on
my marriage license. :-)
My husband Ralph and I have been
married since June 28th, 1958.
I am the eldest of 9 children,
born to Amelia & Charles Sr.
Mom passed away in 1997,
and Dad in 1976.
We miss them terribly!
My 5 sisters are,
Shirley, Diane, Joan,
Mary and Pat. My 3 brothers are
Bill, Jim, and
our Charles Jr.
who passed away in 1998.
Family is very, very important
to us, and without their support
I wouldn't be able to get through
all of my life's trials!
Ralph and I have 3 adult children.
Our oldest is Ralph Jr. married to
Tracy and they have given us 3
grandsons, Matt, Scott and Ryan.
Barbara is our second born,
and she is married to Clem,
and they have given us 2
grandsons, Jay and Eric.
Sharon is our youngest,
she's engaged, lives with Ryan,
almost next door to us.
It's so comforting to know they are
so close if we need them quickly.
Ralph Jr and Barbara,
also live in the area
We live in a small town in
N.E. Pennsylvania.
Did I hear someone yell!!!!
How small is it????
Well, our town is so small
that our home is among six on the
road we live on. There are
7 streets, one Amvets, two bars
and one regular mailbox.
Recently, someone built a
gymnastic center across the
street from us, so maybe
things are looking up.
I hope you'll visit my other pages
and please sign my guestbook,
so I'll know you were here.
Thank You!! Sally
Life's Tug Of War
Life can seem ungrateful ~ and not always kind.
Life can pull at your heartstrings ~ and play with your mind.
Life can be blissful ~ and happy and free.
Life can put beauty ~ in the things that you see.
Life can place challenges ~ right at your feet.
Life can make good ~ of the hardships that we meet.
Life can overwhelm you ~ and make your head spin.
Life can reward those ~ determined to win.
Life can be hurtful ~ and not always fair.
Life can surround you ~ with people who care.
Life clearly does offer ~ its ups and its downs.
Life's days can bring you ~ both smiles and frowns.
Life teaches us to take ~ the good with the bad.
Life is a mixture ~ of happy and sad.
So.....
Take the life that you have ~ and give it your best.
Think positive, be happy ~ let God do the rest.
Take the challenges ~ that life has laid at your feet.
Take pride and be thankful ~ for each one you meet.
To yourself give forgiveness ~ if you stumble and fall.
Take each day that is dealt you ~ and give it your all.
Take the love that you're given ~ and return it with care.
Have faith that when needed ~ it will always be there.
Take time to find the beauty ~ in the things that you see.
Take life's simple pleasures ~ let them set your heart free.
The idea here is simply ~ to even the score.
As you are met and faced with ~ Life's Tug Of War.
