About UK Medievalists
The UK Medievalists group or the College of Vale D'Azure, (formerly
known as the College of Dragon's Crossing) is a branch of the Middle Kingdom
of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and is located on the
campus of the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
Vale D'Azure is a vibrant, active group with members that travel
to many events in the Middle Kingdom as well as in other Kingdoms.
Our members are diverse and knowledgable in many aspects of the
current Middle ages and are always willing to teach others.
The UK Medievalists host and co-host many fine events each year.
Come visit us at our weekly meetings held every Tuesday at 7pm
(Room 111, Old Student Center, next to ID Office) or stop by
fighter practice held every Sunday afternoon at 2pm in the grassy area
between Administration Drive, UK Student Center, and Buell Armory.
As of May 2nd, 1999 and for the summer only (because campus buildings
are locked for the summer), our Tuesday night classes have been moved
to Sunday at 4pm after fighter practice in the Administration
Drive or in Buell Armory if it is raining.
