1. Please Don't Hit Me, Mom TV 1981
Sean played Brian Reynolds in this afterschool special. His real mother, Patty Duke, also played his mother in the film.

2. The Goonies 1985
Sean played Mikey Walsh in this story about a group of kids who call themselves the Goonies. When they discover that the richest family in town is going to buy all of the houses from them in order to build a golf course, they set out on an adventure to find the riches of an old pirate to save their homes in Astoria, Oregon. The movie was filmed on location. Co-stars include Corey Feldman and Martha Plimpton.

3. The B.R.A.T. Patrol TV 1986
Sean plays Leonard Kinsey in this story of a bunch of mischevious kids who live on an amry base, and all the trouble the cause. Other co-stars include Jason Presson, Nia Long and Tim Thomerson.

4. White Water Summer 1987 aka The Rites of Summer
Sean starred as Alan in this summer adventure-style film. His parent's force him to sign up for a summer camping trip in which Alan and a small group of boys go out into the wilderness with their counsellor (played by Kevin Bacon) only to discover that he's not as nice as he seemed.

5. Like Father, Like Son 1987
In this film Sean played Kirk Cameron's best friend, Trigger. It is the story of a boy (Cameron) and a father (Dudley Moore) who switch bodies after accidentally taking a potion that Trigger gave to them.

Sean plays Josh Rose at age seventeen in this story about a couple and their disaterous problems. Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas play his parents.

Sean's character, Dave Morgan, wants nothing more the popularity. So he and his best friend decide to dig their own pool in Dave's backyard in order for them to have an amazing grad party. And during the digging the discover a man frozen in the ground who has been the since the Ice Age. They dig him up, thaw him out, and bring him to their high school where he quickly becomes more popular that the ones who brough him there! Co-stars include Brendan Fraser, Pauly Shore and Megan Ward.

13. Rudy 1993
Sean played the title role in this film about a young boy who aspires to play football for Notre Dame and will go to any lengths to achieve his goal, despite the fact that he is definitely not the typical football player type. Ned Beatty co-stars.

14. Theresa's Tattoo 1994 (uncredited)
This is the crazy story of Theresa, who wants to stay home and study during her spring break, but is forced by her friends to go out to wild parties, which results in numerous mishaps. Sean plays the part of the step-brother, and he went uncredited in this film.

Sean co-stars as Izzy singer, second born son of seven boys to Susan Sarandon and Sam Sheppard in this film about a family who reunites to await news about their brother who may have been killed in a bombing in the Sinai. Co-stars also include Robert Sean Leonard and Jason London.

16. Harrison Bergeron TV 1995
Sean played the title role in this film about a futuristic society striving to create everyone as equals by breeding the smart with the stupid and by depriving people of any sort of benefits, such as music and educational programs on television. Watch for cameo appearances from both John and Mackenzie Astin near the begining of the film as Sean watches a golf program on TV.

17. Courage Under Fire 1996
Sean played the small role of Patella in the war story of a lieutenant trying to award the Medal of Honor to a woman for the first time ever. Denzel Washington, Meg Ryan and Matt Damon co-star.

20. Boy Meets Girl 1998
This movie is being called a dark, romantic comedy described by Sean as "it's about, of all things, a boy, meeting a girl!" As of now, there is still no news on the release of this film, in which Sean plays Mike, a dialogue writer for photo-romance magazines who falls in love with with an Italian waitress, played by Emily Hampshire. Other cast members include Kate Nelligan, Joe Mantegna and Kevin McDonald.

21. Deterrence 1999
Sean plays the role of Ralphie in this movie with Timothy Hutton and Kevin Pollack about an American president who must deal with a military crisis while stuck in a diner during a snow storm.  This film was screened at the Toronto Film Festival in late 1999 and has seen some wider release in early 2000.

22. Kimberly 1999
Sean plays Bob in this indie romantic-comedy with Gabrielle Anwar in the title role. It is said to be about four men who all fall in love with the same woman (Anwar). Other co-stars include Robert Mailhouse and Molly Ringwald.
