Re: Missing files
Dang it Lee! If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times, back up your
electronic files! I don't appreciate it when a file that could have been saved
to an external drive has been lost simply because you forgot or didn't get
around to it.

Re: Missing files
Hey! I'm busy down here! And it's not my fault that outsized jumbo electric eel
decided to fondle Seaview just when I'd plugged in my laptop. You should be
grateful I only got singed. It's not as if the report you wanted was all that
essential anyway.

Re: Missing files
I'll be the judge of what's essential, Mr. Know it All. By the way, I've
enrolled you in the `Laptop Essentials for Dummies' class in the local high
school as soon as you get to port. You can thank me later.

Sorry, I'll be in Sickbay nursing my wounds. Sparks has agreed to go in my
place.

Re: Missing files
Poor baby, does singed hand need kissy poo? Angie and Lola are fighting over
first dibs. Of course there's always Nurse Branwen. I've already put her on
full alert to greet you when Seaview hits port. By the way, I read the mission
report the Admiral sent, Mister, and you haven't even been to Sickbay! And
Sparks doesn't need any classes. Don't press your luck Captain. You're taking
the class if I have to bring the teacher here!

You wouldn't dare blackmail me with Nurse Branwen! Yeech! If you insist on
computer class, I'll just ask Sparks to give me a refresher.

If the shoe fits, you bet I'll use blackmail. And you don't need a refresher,
you need a complete beginner's course, and I've contacted Admiral Starke that
you'll forward your certificate of completion to his office.

Do you really want a demotion? Besides, have already contacted Lt.Cmdr. Jackson
about your `practical joke' so don't expect Starke to take any notice of your
message.

Hey, give a guy a break will you? Oh, did I mention that O'Brien had a copy of
the same file. Should I tell him to send it to you or should I just have him
delete it? Waiting for your response. Countdown from 100. 99.98.97….

Al l right, all right. You win. Have O'Brien send the report to my personal
email. Cheech. You could have told me you were playing me along.

Re: Missing files

Sir, find attached the missing files the Skipper told me to send to you. I
apologize that I didn't notice or tell him that I had a copy he didn't remember
carbon copying to me until this afternoon.

I guess we were all a bit concerned about his hand. Waiting for hair to sprout
out of it…you know like when he was that weird man beast?

Fortunately, that singe didn't do any more to him except make him cranky. You
know how he gets. Anyway, I hope that file's not too late; after all, I'd sure
hate to make a bet on a horse race without the odds that new software program of
his did.
