He saw the bodies of his friends, but he stopped when he saw Tifa. He looked at the monster. He was laughing. He looked at Tifa's body, and an anger like nothing ever felt by any person took care of his mind. A wind tunnel formed around him, the tip of his sword glowed. He began to slam the Ultima Weapon at an astounding speed, the power concentrating. At last, he finished with a hit of pure energy. His sword broke with the impact. The monster disintegrated. Omnislash!

The Phoenix Down item was used on every person. Cloud then talked silently to Cid. He stopped the Highwind in Nibleheim. He took Tifa by her hand, and they walked towards the well. He sat there, and she looked at him. Straight in the eye.

"Cloud, I noticed I have nothing to lose. Only you. You are everything to me. I won't hide my feelings anymore, I realized how close that was to the end. You could have died. I couldn't bear you dead without knowing that....that, .....that I love you. I love you Cloud."

He looked at her eyes, she was crying. He moved his face closer...and closer....and closer. Their lips were almost touching.

"Way to go Cloud!" Barret screamed!

They looked behind them, and all five looked at them.

Red looked impatient wagging his tail. Yuffie was laughing, Barret was angry that they were taking so long, Vincent was expressionless and Cid was also impatient.

"Well??? Anything gonna happen??? Get a move on it dammit!"

Cloud laughed, looked at Tifa, and they kissed.
