1. How long has your band been together?
About 3 years total and about 6 months with the
current lineup.
2. What type of music do you play?
80' influenced hard rock with a fresh new attitude.
3. What has been the toughest obstacle to overcome in getting your
band
started?
Because the style of music we play isn't trendy,
it can sometimes be hard to
find the right band members. Getting heard
can also be tough because the
music we play is still underground. Not
too many clubs or radio stations
are supporting it yet, but we aren't giving up.
They'll come around
eventually.
4. Why did you decide to become a musician?
Mike: I was inspired by Eddie Van Halen to play
guitar, but after my first
Bon Jovi concert, I knew what I wanted to do.
Damian: Well, music was always around me growing
up, so I guess it was in my
blood. After seeing Bon Jovi and Cinderella
on MTV ,that's when I decided
I wanted to do this.
5. What artist have influenced you the most and how?
We're influenced by different bands for various
reasons. Bon Jovi for their
incredible songs and vocal harmonies. Vain
and Skid Row for the attitude.
6. How did your band members meet and get started?
We have all played in bands around the Philly
scene, and once we all started
to play together, everything just clicked.
7. Who does most of your bands writing music/lyrics? one person
or by
collaboration?
Damian and I usually do most of the writing and
present it to the band.
Everyone adds their own style to the songs.
8. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Hopefully, touring the world with a multi-platinum
CD! As long as we are
playing music, we will be happy.
9. Do you have any current releases? or one in the works?
We are currently finishing up our debut CD, "Addiction."
We are hoping to
have it out by Fall 1999. Check out the
web site at
http://midnightangel.duf.net for updates.
10. Where and when can we catch a live show?
After the CD is done, we plan on touring parts
of the East Coast. Our next
show will probably be at the Birch Hill Night
Club in New Jersey. We have
played shows with Slaughter, Warrant, Dokken,
etc., and hope to continue
playing with national acts in the future.
11. Anything else to add to your fans? Anything new you want to
let them know
about?
We'd like to thank them for all their support
over the last year. It really
means a lot to us. The CD will be out soon
and hopefully, they will dig it.
12. Anything you would like to say to the people seeing/hearing
