THOMAS MCLAUGHLIN DEAD

PIONEER OF FARMINGTON PASSES AFTER LINGERING ILLNESS

Friday morning, after a lingering illness of several months, Thomas McLAUGHLIN passed away at his home in Farmington township. His age was seventy-one years, and he has lived in Olmstead County, and at his Farmington home for twenty-two years. The death of this old pioneer will bring regret to many, as he has for so long been associated with the affairs of the county that he will be missed by the many that were his friends during his lifetime.

Mrs. McLAUGHLIN died twelve years ago, also one son, William, who passed away in 1887. The other children are Mrs. Patrick NORTON of Rochester; Frank and James of DONNELLY, Minn. John of Wabasha, and Thomas and Nellie, who live at home.

The funeral was held at the Catholic Church in Hammond Monday.
