This 61-page document combines materials from The Hovey Book of 1914, together with other historical notes and research to combine genealogical data with historical perspectives on the life and times of each of Joseph Grafton Hovey's ancestors back to Daniel Hovey of Ipswich, Massachusetts and, his father, Richard Hovey of Waltham Abbey, Essex, England.
