Last time in "Darkmon's Fight Against Digimon & Pokemon!!! Fight 1!" they got attacked by a Shogungekomon. The Digimon team explained to the Pokemon trainers that the Shogungekomon was intact with a Black Gear. Tai found out that Darkmon wanted a fight. The fight with Shogungekomon was the first fight. A Seadramon appeared out of the water, ready to fight.....
"Pepper Breath!" said Agumon. Agumon shot a fireball at Seadramon, but it blocked it. "If they're trying to kill us, it doesn't mean us to kill it! It's not fair. I mean, it's planted with a Black Gear. It's not its fault that it's trying to destroy us. I can't believe you hurt a Shogun whatever Digimon. Why don't you get the Black Gear off?" said Misty. "BECAUSE.... when Unimon had a Black Gear, it was so hard to get it off! I needed help from Birdramon." said T.K. Seadramon shot an Ice Beam at Tai! It froze him in ice! Agumon ran to Tai. "Oh, no!" said Mimi. "This isn't good." said Sora. "If he's frozen, I'll take his place." said Matt. Seadramon prepared to shoot another Ice Beam. "Matt, no!!!" yelled Gabumon. "I'm going to sacrifice myself for him." said Matt. Gabumon held back. Gabumon was worried. "GABUMON DIGIVOLVE INTO..... GARURUMON!!!" yelled Garurumon. "Ice Blast!" yelled Garurumon. Ash watched the battle. Ash needed to stop the Black Gear.
"They'll never stop my army of evil Digimon. The Black Gears are much too powerful for them. Heheheheh." said Darkmon. "Soon, all of them will die. All the digi-destined will die..." said Darkmon. An evil Tyranomon came up to Darkmon. "Yes?" asked Darkmon. "Isn't there eight digi-destined?" asked Tyranomon. Darkmon looked at Tyranomon evily. "Never mention the eighth digi-destined. He or she will never come here to the Digi-World to save his or her little friends...." said Darkmon evily.
"Oh, no!" yelled Mimi. T.K. pushed Mimi out of the way and he got frozen. "T.K, nnnoooo!!!!" yelled Matt. Tai got unfrozen with the help of Greymon's Nova Blast. Tai was confused. "What happened?" asked Tai. "You got frozen." said Mimi. Tai saw T.K. frozen. "Hey, where's Ash?" asked Tai. "How do we know? Quit asking questions! We have a Seadramon to battle here, remember?" asked Sora. Tai saw Ash on top of Seadramon! Tai saw Ash do something. "Don't call my name!" said Ash loud. Seadramon didn't even notice with all the Ice Blasts. Ash searched for the Black Gear. "What is that idiot trying to do?" said Tai. "He's looking for the Black Gear!" yelled Matt. Ash saw a black circle. He took a closer look. "GARURUMON DIGIVOLVE INTO..... WEREGARURUMON!!!" yelled Weregarurumon. Ash needed to hurry before his friends die. He grabbed the Black Gear and pulled with all his might. Seadramon stopped fighting. Seadramon felt someone on its back. Seadramon turned its head around to see Ash. Ash quickly got out his Pidgeot. "Pidgeot, peck that Black Gear off!" yelled Ash. Pidgeot pecked at the sides like crazy. "Come back!" said Ash. Pidgeot got zapped back into the PokeBall. Seadramon prepared an Ice Beam. Ash grabbed the Black Gear. "OH, NO!" yelled Tai. Seadramon shot an Ice Beam at Ash! It was getting closer. Ash finally pulled the Black Gear off! But the Ice Beam hit him, making Ash turn into ice. Ash fell to the ground, shattering the ice. Ash stayed on the ground, still as a rock. Seadramon went back into the water. "Ash saved us all... he sacrificed his life for us..." said Misty. Misty started weeping. Tai ran to Ash. Matt followed Tai. "Check his pulse." said Matt. Weregarurumon turned back to Gabumon. Gabumon and the others stared at Ash. "He's gone..." said Tai. Everybody started crying, except for Matt and Tai. "Look, it's no reason to cry about." they both said. "So you're saying if your mother died, you wouldn't be crying? Even if your little sister dies?" asked Mimi. "That's different. Ash isn't in my family." said Tai.
"Hah hah. One down, eight more to go." said Darkmon. The evil Digimon were celebrating their victory. "Soon, they'll all die. Soon... soon...." said Darkmon. "Use Plan A." said Darkmon. "The vortex?" asked Tyranomon. "Yes, the vortex....." said Darkmon.
A vortex formed. "Hey, what's going on?" asked Mimi. The vortex got bigger. Soon, it filled the whole sky. It covered the landscapes, as if it was goo spilling all over to cover the island. "This is one of Darkmon's plans....." said Tai.
