No doubt about it. This group can sing. There is really no group in gospel to which this band can be easily compared. However, they are reminiscent of the lighter sounds of secular groups like En Vogue or Boys 2 Men (except that this band has male and females in it). Their blend is pure heaven and their songwriting is impeccable. The single, "Not the I But The You In Me" was a smooth mix of harmonies and powerful lead vocals. From their first release SPIRITUAL LOVE AFFAIR to their current status as a trio on UNDER THE INFLUENCE, Anointed is one of the best groups ever to come out of Gospel or Pop.
