To put it simply, Eric Champion is a musical genius, having produced, played and written several projects including his own. His first #1 hit was the memorable piece "Calling You" from the album SAVE THE WORLD. It was a masterful blend of vocal harmonies, arrangements and colorful musical changes. However, the powerful VERTICAL REALITY marked a young artist coming of age. Together with bassist and co-producer Tommy Sims (ex-bassist for Whiteheart and Bruce Springsteen), Eric Champion offered his most consistent project to date. VR was followed up by an album that took the world by surprise as Champion moved into rockier pastures. Still, he seems as at home as he did with his R&B/pop style. Champion should be one of the leaders of the younger generation of contemporary Christian musicians.
