Carman's album THE CHAMPION produced several singles for Christian radio. One in particular, "Fear Not My Child", included a duet with a female vocalist who few had ever heard of at that time. Now Kim Boyce is one of today's leading Christian artists whose dance/pop style has taken the road less traveled in contemporary Christian music. Dance is what Boyce's music is all about (similar to the more upbeat numbers from Lisa Bevill). Not just the shuffling of the feet but the everyday dance of the heart. "Not Too Far From Here" and other songs about faith, hope, and love have touched various audiences. "Not For Me", "Not Too Far From Here", "No Means No" and many more have reflected her concern that Christians deal honestly with the search for true love and the issues of dating, marriage and even date rape.
